At Yantianxia, you don't just watch history. You step into it. The 90-minute show is built around Nanjing's past as the "Capital of Ten Dynasties." It moves from emperors founding their capital, through the refinement of the Six Dynasties and the literary life along the Qinhuai River, to Zheng He's great sea voyages. Holograms, stage lighting, intangible cultural heritage dances, and live performers bring the story right up to your table.

The Show

The 360° circular hall has no obstructed seats, so every table gets a full view of the court celebrations. Performers in character interact with guests, bringing you into the banquet as a participant. Highlights include a staging of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Seas with dances from the lands he visited, and heritage dances that capture the spirit of old Jinling, Nanjing's historic name.

The Banquet

Each dish arrives with its own performance, so food and show move together. Portions are small and elegant, served on carefully chosen tableware, with dishes drawn from Nanjing's culinary traditions.
