Xingwen Stone Sea UNESCO Geopark Sichuan: Slide Into a Giant Karst Cave: Entry with 200m Cave Slide, Underground River Boat, Geology Museum & Shuttle

Xingwen Stone Sea is a UNESCO Global Geopark in southern Sichuan, often called a "museum of karst landscapes." It's known for three natural wonders found side by side: a surface "sea" of rock pinnacles, a giant sinkhole, and the vast Tianquan Cave. This ticket takes you through all of them in one route, around the sinkhole rim, down a slide into the cave, and out along an underground river by boat.

Your Route
Walk the Giant Sinkhole: start with a loop around the rim of the Great Sinkhole (tiankeng). It's about 650 metres across and over 200 metres deep. The trail gives you views straight down into the abyss.
Geology Museum: learn how this landscape formed. Fossils of trilobites, corals, and shells found here show that the area was once an ancient sea, which is where the "Stone Sea" name comes from. It's a great stop for kids.
200-Metre Cave Slide: skip the stairs and slide into the mountain on a rubber mat, gliding through clusters of stalactites in the cool underground air.
Tianquan Cave: walk through cavern after cavern of strange, moon-like rock formations. The cave runs right through the mountain and has more than 10 km of explored passages. Watch for the natural skylight in the roof, where a single beam of sunlight shines into the darkness like a spotlight.
"Blue Tears" Underground River Boat: glide along the underground river, lit in glowing blue. Stop for a coffee at the café inside the cave before heading back out.

Good to Know
The cave stays at 16–18°C all year. Bring a light jacket, even in summer.
Wear non-slip shoes. Cave floors can be damp.
